Insight

In joint with Sony Music Entertainment, Palm Tree Records draws in potential artists via unorthodox methods, thus cutting traditional deep red tape that more prominent record labels have in place still. Joint with Sony Music allows an elevation of the presence with a personal touch, resulting in artist revenue via streaming, merchandise, and publishing.

Although the website wasn't large, I made sure to remain in the process and do wireframes to allow me to foresee a future of project success. Depending on the project size, I adapt this part of the product design process.

Wireframes

I had a rare opportunity to use low-copy content and abundance in space, which is rare at times :). I utilized a white room with significant imagery, giving the user a more intimate experience by oversizing the content. Up on top, there is a persistent call to action that leads the user to the Spotify link with Kaygo: Palm Tree Playlist—giving them even more closeness to the artists and the label.
